Shelter Rock Ministries, located in Boone (Foscoe) NC, is a non-denominational Appalachian relief ministry reaching out through evangelism with charity and the love of Jesus Christ to needy children and those in generational poverty in NC, TN, WV, and KY. Our Sponsor-A-Child Program allows you to participate with us help those right in our own back door who need help so desparately here in Appalachia.

Followed by our praise and worship service at 6:00pm
(Food distribution follows the service.)

Shelter Rock began
in 2001 with the efforts of couple working as missionaries
in the remote areas of the Appalachians. Steven Reese, his wife Catherine
and son Ian would carry in bags of groceries and drinking water to families
still living on dirt floors.

They found many
without running water. Children had inadequate clothing and not enough food
to eat.
Faith that these needs would somehow be met through their efforts has led
to over 1000 tons of food being distributed, one can at a time, to families
that desperately need help.
Today Shelter Rock continues to demonstrate unconditional love through giving!
