Come in and join the fun on our fifty acre zipline site in the Vilas/Valle Crucis, North Carolina area; we are open year-round. We have a zipline course on our fifty acres that our certified guides lead you through. We have up to nine ziplines; the shortest one is over the length of a football field and the longest is up to a half of a mile long. The entire course takes about two and a half hours to complete.

Both the regular tour and the three-person-wide zip lines include a safety briefing, gear orientation, an orientation / practice zip experience, and two trained guides.

Every skier, snowboarder, whitewater rafter, horseback rider, fisherperson, hiker, biker, student and racer needs to experience this zipline course. You will never forget it (can you remember what you got three Christmases ago?)

All lines involve a gravity brake system, but they all have a back-up brake system as well so there is no need to worry about coming in too fast. Using our GPS to track our speed, we had zippers at 48 mile per hour, and they weren't even trying to go fast. Come and be part of history! Scream Time Zipline is pleased to announce the first ever three person wide, 2,000 foot long zip line in the United States! These are absolutely as exciting as they sound. Harness up with friends or family and take turns racing down the line. See who gets to the end first. These lines have been specially designed and reviewed by two licensed engineers, wet stamp approved, and utilize a custom cable to allow us to go to these lengths. Zoom along with your friends and family just feet away at your sides. Laugh, scream, sit back, and enjoy the ride! Add these lines to your regular tour of the area. For a slight up-charge fee you can make your reservation for these lines for your party alone. Come for one or come for all! This is where we got our name, "Scream Time Ziplines!"

Our guides are certified in a program offered by our parent company, Experience Based Learning, Inc. (EBL). EBL brings years of research and expertise to each project and was the first company to install tours in the United States. They wrote the standards for the industry which later became acknowledged and endorsed by the Professional Ropes Course Association (PRCA), and the PRCA is an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Accredited Standards Developer for the industry. EBL also employed standards from the National Fire Protection Administration (NFPA) and Occupational Safety Health Act (OSHA) for pulleys and fall protection systems.

Further, EBL has undergone a successful peer review process by the PRCA and became an Accredited Vendor, the first and only vendor from any association to receive this level of industry credential for canopy and zip line tours.
